About Us

Our company's history dates back to 1970 when T:mi R. Bäck was established in Pietarsaari at the Kanavapuistikko business premises. Initially, our operations focused on car spare parts, industrial maintenance products, and tools. In 1982, the company relocated to new premises on Kauppiaankatu and gained the representation rights for Luna Ab, the largest wholesaler of tools and machinery in the Nordic region.

In 1987, our company took the first steps towards specializing in the design and implementation of school workshops as a whole.

In 1993, we moved to new premises on Vaunusepäntie, doubling our space.

Our company continued to grow and evolve, and we began our own TiLA furniture production in 2002. In 2006, we sold the industrial sales division and focused more intensively on the school concept. We started manufacturing starter and brake units for machines and expanded our maintenance services.

In 2013, the production of our own electrical products expanded further. Today, our company combines long experience and solid expertise in designing customized and versatile solutions for school workshops both domestically and internationally. Quality and safety are paramount values. Our collaboration with well-known brands allows us to offer high-quality products tailored to the specific needs of school workshops.

We design and implement workshop spaces together with the client, focusing on safety and durability, taking into account budget constraints.
